Real lender ko aapki phonebook ya photos nahi chahiye. Yeh permissions baad mein harassment ke liye use hoti hain.

Disbursal se pehle 'processing fee' maangta hai

Real lender fees disbursed amount se kaatta hai — UPI ya personal account par pehle kabhi nahi maangta.

Bahut ooncha APR, ya short tenure par teekha interest

RBI ab NBFC ki interest rates par cap nahi lagata, isliye ooncha APR apne aap mein illegal nahi hai. Par ~36% se kaafi upar ki rates zyada savdhani maangti hain — APR aur total cost compare kijiye, aur agar lender inhe clearly na dikhaye to alert rahiye.

October 2024 se RBI ne KFS mandatory kar diya hai. Bina KFS, koi loan nahi.

Lender ko kaise verify karein

sachet.rbi.org.in kholiye aur lender ka exact naam search kijiye. RBI ki regulated entities ki published list bhi check kar sakte hain. Kisi bhi real loan app mein regulated bank ya NBFC ka naam clearly dikhna chahiye. Yeh information na mile to kabhi mat borrow kijiye.

Borrower ke roop mein aapke rights

  • Har bureau se saal mein ek free full report le sakte hain, aur kisi bhi error ki free complaint kar sakte hain — RBI rules se yeh lagbhag 30 din mein resolve honi chahiye.
  • Recovery agent ki dhamki, harassment ya family ko call karna RBI ke Fair Practices Code ke tahat illegal hai. Evidence rakhiye aur report kijiye.
  • Har regulated loan ke saath sign se pehle Key Fact Statement (KFS) milna chahiye jo poori cost dikhaye; credit card ke liye MITC milta hai.
  • Credit mein naya hona disqualification nahi hai — RBI aur government guidance se lender first-time borrowers ko dusre proof se bhi consider kar sakte hain.
  • Lender disbursal se pehle kisi personal account ya UPI ID par fee kabhi nahi maang sakta, aur jo charges KFS mein nahi the woh aap par baki nahi hain.
  • Agar regulated bank ya NBFC aapki written complaint 30 din mein resolve na kare, to free RBI Ombudsman (cms.rbi.org.in) par escalate kijiye.

Agar loan app harass kar raha hai

  1. Agent ke bheje UPI links par payment band kijiye. Sirf official lender app ya website par hi paisa dijiye.
  2. Har message, call log aur shared post ka screenshot lijiye. Yahi aapka evidence hai.
  3. Turant 1930 ya cybercrime.gov.in par report kijiye. sachet.rbi.org.in par alag complaint bhi daaliye.
  4. Ek family member ya friend ko bataaiye taaki akele mat jhelein. Baat karni ho to iCall 9152987821 par call kijiye.
